You are invited to be part of Acoustics Week in Canada 2017 to be held October 11-13, 2017 in Guelph (Ontario).  Three days of keynote talks and technical sessions will be framed by events such as the welcome reception, conference banquet and an exhibition of products and services relating to the field of acoustics and vibration.  Extend your stay before or after the conference for the Octoberfest celebrations in nearby Kitchener-Waterloo.

Wednesday Evening Technical Tours & Self-guided tourism

 

Two technical tours will be hosted on Wednesday evening prior to the reception.  Please see the tour flyer for more information.  Note, conference attendees wishing to join either tour must sign up at the registration desk on Wednesday morning.

 

If you anticipate some spare time in you schedule and would like to explore the area yourself, we invite you to visit the Guelph Tourism website for a comprehensive presentation of local attractions.

Exhibition list is finalized

 
With the addition of Isotech Industries, and Siemens PLM Software to the Acoustics Week in Canada 2017 exhibition hall, the final two tables have been filled.  Conference registrants will have plenty of interesting exhibitors to visit, with this being one of the largest AWC exhibits in recent history.  The organizing committee would like to encourage you to take the time to visit the exhibition, and to patronize these companies who are supporting the conference.

Hearing Accessibility

 

Soundfield systems and hearing accessibility systems will be provided by Phonak Canada.  If there are any delegates requiring a personal wireless system for the presentations, please see Peter Stelmacovich near the registration desk when you arrive at the conference.
