Abstract Submission

Deadline for Abstracts: July 1st 2023.

Step 1: submit an abstract (300 words or less) by July 1st 2023.

You can submit your abstract by clicking below:

https://awc.caa-aca.ca/index.php/AWC/AWC23/author/submit

Accepted abstracts will be invited to give a 10-15 minute talk at the conference in a session related to the topic.

If you wish to organize a session of related talks, please mention it in Stage 1 "Comments for Technical Chair".  Please list the proposed title for your session, and the first author of at least 4 other abstract submissions that will be part of your session.

Step 2 (optional): upon notification of acceptance of the abstract, upload by July 15th your two-page article to be published in the conference proceedings.

Deadline for two-page proceedings articles: July 15th. Instructions will be sent to the author's email, once the abstract has been approved. The article template is provided below.

Author Guidelines

Authors are encouraged to use the available Microsoft™ Word or Latex templates to produce their two-page articles.

These templates, either in Word or in Latex format, written in Lorem Ipsum as an example will allow you to easily produce the “final” version ready for publication (click here for a preview).

Please note, that whatever word processor is used, all the files submitted must be in PDF format. The file should be submitted as a "Supplementary File" attached to the relevant abstract submission.

The conference proceedings of the Acoustics Week in Canada will be published in the September issue of Canadian Acoustics.

Note: If the number of abstracts submitted is large, authors should be prepared to accept assignment to lecture or poster sessions regardless of preferred method of presentation.

IMPORTANT: You or one of your co-authors must register for the conference by August 1st for your 2-page article to be published in the September proceedings issue of Canadian Acoustics. If none of the authors has registered for the conference by August 1st, then only the abstract will be included in the proceedings issue.
