Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Authors are encouraged to use the available Microsoft™ Word or Latex templates.

These templates, either in Word or in Latex format, are written in Lorem Ipsum and shows the “final” format for publication ready for publication in conference proceedings (click here for a preview).

Please note, that whatever word processor is used, all the files submitted to the Canadian Acoustics journal must be in PDF format.

The proceedings of the Acoustic Week in Canada will be published in the September issue of the Canadian Acoustics journal.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in PDF document file format. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  3. If the submission is to be presented by a student, registered at the conference, and that this student is willing to enroll in theStudent Presentation Award contest, please make sure to type "Student Presentation Award" in the Comments to the Director box below.
  4. In order for authors to have their two-page article published in the conference proceedings, they must:

    1. submit their abstract before the abstract deadline and their abstract must be accepted by the Technical Chair;

    2a. submit their 2-page summary article before the article deadline and their article must be accepted by the AWC Technical Chair;

    3a. have their 2-page article accepted by the JCAA copyeditor before the registration deadline;

    4a. register at least one of the authors for the AWC conference before the registration deadline. In the case where the submitting author is not registered for the conference, the email of the registered author should be typed in exactly the way it was entered by the registered author, for proper internal cross-referencing.

Copyright on articles is held by the author(s).
