Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

The presenting author must be listed as the first author. Submitted abstracts should include non-published data. Abstracts previously presented will not be accepted. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. Active CAA Membership Required

    This "AWC20 - One day online celebration of acoustics  in Canada" event is organized voluntarily by members for members of the CAA. Please make sure that your CAA membership is active at the time of submission and presentation. Membership status can be verified and renewed here.

  2. Extra requirements for CAA Best Student Presentation Award

    • The applicant must be a graduate student enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in a Canadian university. The applicant cannot be a postdoctoral researcher at the time of the application for the award;
    • The applicant must be a student member of the CAA;
    • The work must be presented by the student during the AWC20 online event and comply with Pecha-Kucha presentation guidelines
    • The student online application form completed before  August 15, 2020
