Abstract and Paper Submissions, Presentations

Overview

The conference is an opportunity for the acoustic community to share current activities, experience and insights through technical sessions. Technical sessions are a series of presentations of research and case studies in a particular subject area. Presentations are based on abstracts accepted in response to the Call for Abstracts. Technical sessions are planned to cover all areas of acoustics including:

• Aeroacoustics

• Architectural and Building Acoustics

• Bio-Acoustics and Biomedical Acoustics

• Musical Acoustics

• Noise and Noise Control

• Physical Acoustics and Ultrasonics

• Psycho- and Physio-Acoustics

• Shock and Vibration

• Signal Processing

• Speech Sciences and Hearing Sciences

• Standards and Guidelines in Acoustics

• Underwater Acoustics

If you would like to organize a session on one of these topics or another specific topic please contact the Technical Chair, Christian Giguere, as soon as possible.

 

Call for Papers

A call for papers will be issued in mid-March.

 

Abstracts

Abstracts for technical papers and presentations are due on or before June 15, 2017 through the conference web site. Further details will follow.

 

Papers

Presenters are strongly encouraged to follow up accepted abstracts with a two-page technical paper for publication in the conference proceedings. The two-page technical papers are due through the conference web site on or before August 1, 2017. One of the authors of the paper must be registered for the conference no later than August 1st to ensure that the paper will be published in the proceedings issue of the journal.

 

Presentations

Short presentations will be arranged topically into technical sessions. Preliminary presentations schedules will be published after abstracts have been submitted.
